Oh NBA, How I've Missed You

For a long time I have strayed from my first love, NBA basketball. I've always been a Wolves fan, and always will be. I was in elementary when they became a team and have enjoyed season tickets for that many years. I fell in love with Kevin Garnett from almost the moment he stepped on the court of the Target Center for the first time, and though I was bummed when he was traded (I did a huge post about this a while back) I knew it was for the best.

And I was right. Look at him now.

Kevin is now playing in the Eastern Conference Finals with the Celtics. In fact, Game 3 is on as I type. KG is in a bit of foul trouble, but it's nothing he can't handle. So, so badly, I want him to win his championship. A lot of people sit there and say championships don't matter to players, as long as they're playing and making money. You know what I say to that?


BULLSHIT.

It matters to KG. No matter how many times he is called one of the best, he knows that only one thing will actually prove it: a ring. And that's what he's always wanted. I so hope this is the season to do it.
